About Greti
Greti is a very fearful and extremely sensitive female dog.
She was rescued in 2017 together with her brother from a kill shelter. Afterwards, she spent many years in a dog pension—safe, but without real human affection or close bonding.
Today, Greti lives in a shelter in Hungary, where she is experiencing a first sense of security. At the same time, her wish for a permanent, loving home is slowly growing.
Greti is a calm, delicate, and very reserved dog who needs time to build trust. She only opens up very cautiously, but shows small steps of progress once she realizes that people mean her no harm and do not pressure her.
For Greti, we are not looking for a perfect person, but for a patient, empathetic, and reliable human who gives her the time she needs to settle in and shows her that closeness and affection are not something to fear, but can become a source of safety.
