About Mateo
Mateo – Dachshund Looking for a Loving Home
Mateo is a male Dachshund, estimated to have been born in 2022. He is currently waiting for his forever home at the Debrecen animal shelter in Hungary. Mateo comes from a Roma settlement, and unfortunately, little is known about his past.
Mateo is a very sweet and friendly dog. With his short legs, long body and characteristic floppy ears, he has all the distinctive features of a Dachshund. Now, he deserves the chance to find a safe, loving and permanent home.
We are looking for caring people who can offer Mateo security and patiently help him adjust to his new life. Gentle walks, plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore, a cosy bed and the companionship of his people should become part of his everyday life.
Like every dog, Mateo has his own individual needs. He will need enough time to settle into his new surroundings and build trust. People who approach him with patience, understanding and affection can help make this transition as smooth as possible.
Mateo is waiting for the chance to finally belong somewhere and become part of a family. He deserves the opportunity to experience the comfort, stability and care that may have been missing from his life until now.
For Mateo, we are looking for a loving home where he will always be welcome, cherished and treated as a valued member of the family.
