Background
Salvador and his dachshund friend Willi were strays in the Debrecen-Bánk area until they were captured and taken to the local shelter. Willi became seriously ill with parvovirus and was medically treated and fully recovered. Salvador remained healthy and was taken in by the animal welfare organization 14 days later. Although they initially lived together, both dogs now feel more comfortable separately. Willi has since been adopted, while Salvador remains in the shelter.

Salvador is calm, friendly, and people-oriented. He shows trust openly and seeks contact by placing his head against the kennel bars to be petted. He gets along well with his kennel partner, despite the limited space.
