About Sammy

Sammy – extremely fearful young male dog looking for a highly experienced home

Sammy is a very sensitive and extremely fearful young dog. He shows strong distrust toward people and quickly feels threatened when someone tries to approach him. If his need for distance is not respected, he reacts immediately out of fear and may snap. For this reason, Sammy is only suitable for a highly experienced home with people who understand fearful dogs and can consistently respect his boundaries.

At this stage, Sammy is not able to accept direct contact or closeness easily. He needs a great deal of time, calmness, and a stable environment just to begin building any sense of trust. Pressure, attempts to force interaction, or overly fast approaches overwhelm him. He requires patient, steady people who place no expectations on him and are willing to work with him step by step.

Despite his strong insecurity, Sammy shows interest in his surroundings when he feels safe and observes everything carefully. With the right guidance, clear structure, and a very gentle approach, he can gradually learn to feel more secure.

For Sammy, we are looking for a quiet home without children and without a hectic lifestyle. Experience with highly fearful or insecure dogs is essential. A calm and confident resident dog could provide orientation, but this is not a requirement.

Sammy is looking for people who will give him time, respect his distance, and allow him to build trust at his own pace.
