About Yamada

Yamada – A Survivor in Search of a Loving Home

Yamada was found when he was at the end of his strength – alone, injured, and helpless. Another dog had brutally attacked him while he was chained. His side and ear were badly torn, flies had settled in the open wounds, and his body was covered with fleas. No one treated him. No one freed him from the chain. No one heard his quiet whimpering.

And yet, Yamada survived. Not by chance, but because he never stopped believing in life.

After an emergency surgery and thorough medical treatment, including therapy for babesiosis, his second life is now beginning. A part of his ear will remain marked forever – a small “chapter of scars” that shows what he truly is: a survivor with a lion’s heart.

In his foster care, Yamada now reveals his gentle character. He is friendly and people-oriented, compatible with dogs and cats, calm, sensitive, and grateful for every bit of affection. In his eyes there is no anger, no resentment – only the quiet question: “Will I get a second chance?”

Looking for:

A loving home that provides safety and stability, where he is welcomed as a family member. Patience, understanding, and emotional security are essential. A quiet environment, ideally with a garden, would suit him well, though it is not a requirement.
